About Lauryn Gintert

       I grew up in the great state of Ohio. Starting with high school in Lordstown Ohio, I knew early art was the path to my future. I moved to California to start this journey but a year later I knew home was where my heart was and came back to Ohio. I studied fine arts at CCAD in Columbus Ohio and recieved my degree in Art Education at Kent State University. I spent my first 7 years teaching art in Youngstown, Ohio. In August of 2012 I made my way to Windham High School and have had an amazing time creating an art program my students can be proud of.

 

       Throughout my lifetime personal creativity has always been important. My artwork reflects many feelings, experiences, and inner thoughts. I practice art regularly and like my students constantly aim to do better with every brushstroke.

 

       I have recently began moving my education skills past high school and have started teaching painting to adults. Ever been to a paint night? It is a great time! Not much for painting but need some creative help? The Gintert Gallery specializes in many areas. From photography to murals, portraits, to card boxes, we have you covered.
